This painting was created for the LOUD CONVERSATIONS group show at the OAL X Space gallery. LOUD CONVERSATIONS was a group art show bringing together an eclectic mix of artists who have been influenced by cartoon and comic book artwork. It was organized by Adam Brouillette and hosted by the Ohio Art League as part of Cartoon Crossroads Columbus.

I was commissioned to create this painting as a baby gift for racing legend and Indy 500 champion, Bobby Rahal and his wife, for their daughter's nursery. I completed a 2nd painting which was purchased by the family.

I was honored to be invited to participate in the ISM- 10 year anniversary exhibition. Each artist was asked to illustrate a word ending in _ism, or to define our own _ism. I chose naturalistic pantheism, for it is the _ism I felt most connected to. The core of naturalistic pantheism is reverence and respect for nature and the wider universe.
The show was held at the Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, CA.

My painting for CAW's 'Strands' show at the Carnegie Gallery at the Columbus Metropolitan Library. The show featured visual and performance art about hair, fibers, DNA and other “strands.” The theme made me recall a simple string game, called cat's cradle that I used to play with my mom. In researching the origins of the game I found "versions of this game have been found in indigenous cultures all over the world"

A personal piece to pause and reflect on my life’s journey, and commemorate the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Sheep. The Sheep (Goat) is a Yin energy, a symbol of Peace, Harmonious co-existence and Tranquility. The Sheep is the symbol of the Arts. For those who trust in goodness, happiness and success will follow.
